Anybody watch this last night? I half expected it to be yet another depressing look at the way the press handle the disappearance of a child, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The time jumps worked and I like the mystery element they've put in, which seems different from the usual 'who dunnits'. No annoying melodramatic music or slow-mo screeching, which was a definite plus. It felt very realistic. James Nesbitt was very impressive as the father - emotive without over-playing it. I look forward to the next one. |
