City of Angels is kinda guilty pleasure.. I don't know why, but in high school, couple years after it came out, I really liked it. I know it's very melodramatic, but I can't explain why I enjoyed it.

I remember getting (and still have) this DVD for free as part of a menage a trois promotion between Warner, Toshiba and defunct retailer The Good Guys! (buy a Tosh DVD player at Good guys and receive 5 free Warner/New Line DVDs!).

It will be interesting to see if Gabriel Yared's iso score and commentary track is included, along with the Goo Goo Dolls and U2 music vids.

My thoughts exactly. Will definitely add it to the chick flick shelf once it can be had at a good price.

I remember seeing Two Weeks Notice years ago when it came out on DVD but apparently I found it to be utterly forgettable. I like some Hugh Grant flicks, Notting Hill, Love Actually, About a Boy, Four Weddings..., but this just didn't work for me.

this reminded me of another movie id like on blue in the same vein....Far and away with tom cruise.

Sappy movie for sure, but I've always liked it since I first saw it on TV back in the 90s. Its funny I even like it as I really cant sit through any of the other 90s "girlfriend" movies like You Got Mail or Sleepless In Seattle etc. Probably the fact Dennis Franz is in it

Bicentennial Man sadly is owned by Universal, and knowing their track record when it comes to catalog releases, I would not expect them put out a quality transfer. In fact, I would expect them to re-use the same master they prepped for the DVD and simply re-purpose it, much like they have done with a slew of recent releases.

But I am looking forward to owning both of these releases.
