Default Sleeping Beauty blu-ray demo

was shown at my local BB and it was connected to a 60 Pioneer Elite (MSRP $7499 ) and the damn thing looked freakin amazing.

The demo displayed a side by side version with std dvd and blu ray, and it looked pristine.

Disney just does such a kick butt job on their titles. The blu ray side looked so pristine I just describe it in words. It was so rich and I thought the older titles would be grainy, but not the case boyz.

On another note, BB had 6 open box toshiba players and the BB rep was trying to sell the open box to a customer. Had I not informed the customer that HD DUD is going to be obsolete, the sucker would have purchased it.

When the BB rep left to help another customer, I decided to take this potential buyer over to the Pioneer Blu-ray display where we were able to catch a glimpse of Batman Begins demo showing the batman in the car chase scene over the roof tops of gotham.

That sealed it for the newbie. I wish there was a promo going on with Sony where we could recoup blu-ray movies in exchange for new referrals. Many of you like I would probably own at least 25 to 50 more titles in our respective libraries.

More consumres trust the average joe about recommendations in this format war than the reps, at least that has been the response that I have received from newbies that I have spoken to at BB.

BTW, this is a fantastic forum and I cant say how much I look forward to reading everyones posts each morning and evening. Yall are very knowledgeable.

Restoring cartoons should be relatively easy to do, since there are big chunks of one particular colour. I would imagine most restores would be nigh on perfect.

Welcome to the forums! I can't Wait to see that demo!! I have been waiting for that movie to come to Blu-ray. It is one of my favorite animations. Pinnochio is my favorite, but I have no clue when that will be out.
