Fleagbag Season (or Series) One will be released on Blu-ray on February 11th courtesy of Screen Media. This is an excellent British comedy series, created by, and starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Its first 2 seasons are currently streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Hope they'll do a complete series set at some point, but regardless, consider this and the inevitable season 2 release bought. One of the best, most honest shows I've seen in a while.

Had been contemplating getting the UK sets, but season 2 is B locked, so now I'll just wait for the US to get both seasons. I don't see why they didn't release s1 and 2 and/or a complete series set at the same time though.

This show is amazing! They're probably holding off a little longer on a Season 2 release because it just made its way to Amazon Prime in May. Maybe mid-2020 for a Blu-Ray release?

If that's the case, hopefully we don't have to wait 3 and a half-ish years for season 2 as well... though it took 2 years for season 1 to be released in the UK anyway, but season 2 came out a month after it finished airing on TV.

It's released by Screen Media, we're lucky it's not BD-R lol Only Stranger Things and shows from WB have been getting 4K releases.

There's a pre-order for a complete series at BB, Target and Deep Discount for October 13th, so it looks like they might be skipping a solo s2 release, or at least haven't announced that yet. It was pretty pointless to release season 1 by itself anyway, if somebody's buying it, they're going to want both... so they should've just released a complete series from the start.

At least there is an option to purchase a second season on BD, even if one would have to double dip.
Vice-Principals went DVD for S2 (after a BD release).
The Deuce was DVD only for S3 after S1-2 was BD.

And the biggest insult to TV on BD viewers/collectors, Orange is the New Black, that has the first six seasons on Blu-Ray gets a DVD only release for the Seventh and Final season.

If Fleabag gets a Complete Series BD release, it will be a win in this day and age of digital and streaming.

It aired on BBC One in the UK and on Amazon Prime in the US, but neither of them was involved with production, so that's probably why it's getting a BD release here... though I'm surprised it's from Screen Media and not a bigger studio. I'm just glad it's getting a full US release, because even though s1 in the UK was region free, s2 was region locked.

The benefit of owning the UK BD’s over the US is that the UK is coded at 1080i/50, the correct film and broadcast speed.
I notice the US S1 is 155 minutes vs. the UK’s 150, which would account for PAL “slowdown” in this case (normally PAL speed-up, but the conversion is 25fps to 24fps).

Started watching this last week. Bought the UK Blu-rays a while ago.
It's soo freaking good. A damn masterpiece of series. I'm dying of laughing in almost every episode. Could watch this forever.
