Default Are we witnessing the revival of the Western genre?

Seems as though Yellowstone was the first to kick things off, and now we have 1883, Outer Range, Billy the Kid, That Dirty Black Bag, and who knows what else is in the works.

As an enthusiast fan of the genre I love it and makes me happy they're bringing back the Western genre back to life.

There's also Walker, but that's a CW show so I'm cautious if it's actually any good. However, it stars Jared Padalecki so that definitely has me interested.

These days there are way too many superhero shows and movies (I just don't care about them unless it's Batman, Daredevil, Punisher, or Spider-Man) so it's just nice to see a genre from way back being brought back alive again.
