It's not just that the article doesn't say anything, but the comments are retarded as well.
"Useless" would be too kind a word. |

Yeah, the article just kind of goes no where.
And why are they calling it the new VHS? I guess it's meant as a compliment, in that Blu-Ray is winning this format war, and VHS won the format war with Beta. However, one could misinterpret this to be a jab at Blu-Ray since VHS is known for deteriorating over time, etc. It would be nice if they were to explain the meaning of the title in the article. But, there's not much of an article to speak of. |

User comments in that article and posted since are pretty retarded as far as logic goes.
'BD can't play DVDs' And the last one I saw was "BD doesn't have more space, HD-DVD has a 51G disc now" Kinda sad how uninformed some people are. To not know BD can play DVDs shows they don't follow anything except FUD when researching something, not knowing BD players can upconvert is just as sad. If they are going to buy the dog and pony show of the 51g HD-DVD disc that isn't in production, can't be played on current players and hasn't been seen in over a year. Then he should also buy the same about the 200G BD, that probably wont ever be in production either but can at least be played in players. |
