The sequel, despite being the superior film, and becoming the most popular of the two. Continues to be treated like a dog turd by Paramount. At least give us a new HD master from a 4K scan!

This will be a nice 4K disc from Paramount, I wonder if Universal will give the 2019 Addams Family a 4K disc before its 2019 sequel comes out on October 1st, 2021.

The first film is with Warner in the States. Internationally it's with MGM.

Love this movie, it's such an essential October re-watch. Really hope this winds up happening, would be a Day 1 buy for sure.

I’m going to be honest, I’ve been expecting paramount to release this as part of the October lineup for the ‘paramount presents’ line, so a 4k at the same time wouldn’t be out of the question…

I think i'm about done buying Blus for this reason. So many unexpected titles hitting 4k out of nowhere.

There's zero reason to not do both films at the same time.

Not only the new animated film coming out this October, but the Tim Burton Wednesday Netflix series coming next year makes it an ideal tie-in, and pretty much everyone thinks the second movie is superior.
