Default Twin Peaks DVD re-release for revival?

Sorry if this is more a wish list question, but is there a chance they'll release "The Complete Mystery" blu-ray box set in Dvd format in time for the Showtime revival? I see they're putting out a smaller version of the Gold Box set, but I see no reason why they can't release TCM in DVD format for those of us who like to keep tv seasons on DVD.

There's not much reason to do it, sorry. DVD is outdated and terrible resolution compared to blu-ray and now 4K, so there's no reason for them to go backwards. If the Gold Box set is being re-issued, then that's all there will be. For a show shot on film, there's no reason to watch it on DVD just because it's TV.

I get where you're coming from, was just curious of the odds since I buy all my tv seasons on dvd. Personally, I can't stand the FWWM film, so there's little reason to upgrade the gold box collection without the extras.

I saw the TP gold box set at Wal-Mary yesterday (looked like a possible repackage).

You really should try watching TV on Blu. It's a whole new experience, especially with modern shows.

Good TV today is more like a really long movie, especially in hi-def.

Sorry for reviving a "dead" thread, but I saw this today and wondered if "Twin Peaks in Scotland" was ever released on dvd?

Actually, the idea actually sounds like it could have worked. I think the American market might have appreciated the Scottish setting.

They would have needed subtitles for the Glaswegian accent though, obviously
