Default What was the last movie you watched on VHS

and when?

For me it was Hannibal (2001) in about 2010. It was one of the last tapes I ever bought pre-owned years earlier.

I believe it was this way back around 2005-2006 and I only watched it because it had the original soundtrack.

I haven't had a working VHS machine for 3 years but I believe the last movie I saw was The Rock cut for TV.

I think the last film was Episode 1, late 1999 or early 2000. The Terminator was the first VHS I rented, this was in 1985.

Did you rent the VHS machine also? Or did you own one. My parents friends parents bought a BETA machine and it cost them over $ 1000 in the early 80's

I still have a working VCR so... I think a few months ago I watched a bit of Scream on VHS. It's nostalgic.

About once every 6 months I watch something on it, as there are some movies I have that aren't available on DVD or BD. The two most recent:

It was ALWAYS (1989) in October of 2005.

I remember it because a week after that, started the worst period in my life..

My uncle gave me the machine, then two days later my dad took me to go rent a movie, and I choose The Terminator.

Sometime in late 2011 I watched The Mother And The Wh*re.

(Never dvd-ed, nor blu-ed. And still had a tv with s-video connector at the time.)

Still have a few music concert videos I haven't watched.

Still have VHS tapes in a box somewhere in the house - a lot of old black and white mysteries.

Yes, I just can't let go and chuck them - too many great memories.

I was using my VHS machine to record shows up to around 2005 until I got a DVD Recorder with a HDD, followed by another w/o a hard drive. One of the last movies I remember watching on VHS around 2003 or so

I also still have a VCR hooked up. We screened the 1987 masterpiece Deadly Prey last weekend.
