Sorry if this is listed somewhere...
Just picked up this set for the holidays and new to 4K TVs. I'm really digging this TV, but there are a couple things that are bugging me: 1) When streaming Hulu and a couple others, I notice a distinct "frame skip" every 10-15 seconds or so. It's so quick, but my eyes see it and it bugs me. 2) I was watching my first Blu-Ray on the display and noticed on both the Blu-Ray and watching regular 1080p content from networks that the screen tends to anticipate a dark scene coming next by a very fast dimming of the picture just before it gets there. Hope that makes sense. It always happens when going from a brighter scene to a darker scene. I am in the process of upgrading my HDMI cables, but is there some other setting that I'm ignoring? Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom from the enlightened! ![]() |

1) some streaming services force 23.98p content into 24p and vice versa, this can cause these fractional skips now and then.
2) Try turning off the Advanced Contrast Enhancer. The picture will have less "pop" (ugh) but it'll look truer to what it should. |
