Warner Bros Lights Out 4K UHD (2016)

Warner will be releasing Lights Out (2016) on 4K UHD in October! This will be a MOD-distributed release.

Quote:
From producer James Wan (The Conjuring) comes a tale of an unknown terror that lurks in the dark. When Rebecca left home, she thought she left her childhood fears behind. Growing up, she was never really sure of what was and wasn't real when the lights went out and now her little brother, Martin, is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that had once tested her sanity and threatened her safety. A frightening entity with a mysterious attachment to their mother, Sophie, has reemerged. But this time, as Rebecca gets closer to unlocking the truth, there is no denying that all their lives are in danger... once the lights go out.

Wow, very random. But I don't say no to horror in 4K. Not a bad flick.

WB have quietly been putting out a number of MOD 4Ks for movies either made in 4K or 2K digital

A short, punchy, great horror jam, I'm in!! We need a few more from around this time as well (first Sinister, Annabelle Creation, Ouija Origin, etc - all would look sweet in 4k and on my shelf next to this one).

LOVED this movie. Surprised it's taken them so long to put out a UHD but will definitely be picking this up.

I'm not usually frightened by horror movies but there's some absolutely terrifying imagery in this one.

Thought I'd seen this before. Just watched the trailer and must have confused it with something else. Looks like it might be worth a blind buy.

I realize it's not Warner, but this makes me think how much I would enjoy Oculus and Sinister on 4K.

Oh HELLS yaaaaasssssss!!!!!! I really enjoy this one! Agreed, one of the few truly creepy, unsettling ghost horrors of the last ten years. Precisely the film you want to be watching at midnight, all alone in your darkened house, in a rain storm. It's very high on my uhd wants list, and this is a thrilling development. Sooooo much uhd win lately, especially with Second Sight now finally threatening to drop their long-awaited uhd master of Possession (1981), the NOES 4k box set looming, and The Conjuring 4k right around the corner for Wan fans. Sweeeeeeet!!!!

Literally the only way to watch these and feel actual fear... alone in my basement theater...a good ATMOS track goes a long way...

I hope they also release The Conjuring 2 or the Annabelle movies on 4K, even if it's MOD only.

Yes, with Conjuring 3 already on uhd for the past four years now, I'm very surprised that WB didn't roll out Conjuring and Conjuring 2 on uhd at the same time, in time for Halloween this year. Odd, that.

Nice! This movie is really underrated. It has likeable characters and is genuinely scary, unlike most of the Conjuring/Insidious/Paranormal activity sequels.
