This was shot on the Sony Venice. The Blu looks lush as it is, the UHD should be insanely lovely.

CDON entry now removed. DiscShop entry postponed to 2022-12-31.

Very strange since the entries were added just 5-6 days ago. Maybe they announced it before they were allowed to.

i would imagine that Universal has postponed it since the new movie was delayed recently to 2022…..this is speculation from my side of course.

You mean Downton Abbey 2? Not sure why that delay would indirectly delay the release of the Downton Abbey 1 4K BD. Releasing Downton Abbey 1 on 4K BD before Downton Abbey 2 is shown in theaters should not be a problem, but instead quite normal.

And why delay Downton Abbey 1 4K BD just 5-6 days after entries being added? I assume CDON and DiscShop got their info from Universal who will release it.

Studio's often Do tie-in's with new movies and since the new Downton Abbey 2 movie was delayed from December 2021 to March 2022 Universal may have delayed the 4k release as well.
On the other hand that shop could have been listing the release too soon and they got a notice from the distributor to take it down for now.
