Exclamation Outer Limits - Season 2

This refers to the original 1960s version of The Outer Limits.

Kino has just released S2 on Blu-ray, and there is a definite audio error on D1/E1 "Soldier." At around 25 minutes in audio doubling/fluttering is evident. I've seen this commented upon on other forums. I have written Kino to get an idea of when/if corrected discs will be issued.

If anyone has more info, please post. This is a great series, and the transfers have been fine until this one.

This is Kino. They will offer a replacement when hell freezes over. They'll tell you that there is nothing wrong with the audio and that you are trolling here.

One hopes not. Since I posted, another forum forwarded a message from Kino that gave an address to email them. They claim to be full aware of the glitch, and are going to make remastered Disc One for replacement. It will be after the first of the year due to production times and holiday delays.

We shall see.....

I just received the email from Kino Lorber.

They will be replacing the defective disc in early 2019.

Fingers crossed.

The second season set with the corrected disc sounds and looks really good. Nice extras
