I like them all, but Star Wars is still tops in my opinion. I've defended those movies to naysayers since they first came out, and have never felt compelled to apologize for my stance on them.

Star Wars by a mile.

I can enjoy The Hobbit movies, but it's obvious they were rushed.

And Newt Scamander is an amusing character but the overall story is a mess in Fantastic Beasts.

The Hobbit easy, The Star Wars prequels were not very good. I have never seen the Fantastic Beasts series.

Star Wars Episodes I-III for me as well. After that, The Hobbit. Followed by Fantastic Beasts, but I still enjoy them too (even if I do agree the story, for the second movie in particular, is a mess).

The Hobbit. 2 good films and 1 mediocre film>1 serviceable film and 2 terrible films and yes, Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are still crap, I don't care what anybody says. I remember the JarJarMustDie.com site like it was yesterday.

Star Wars and it isn't even close.

And I'll die on a hill saying the prequel trilogy gave us two of the Top 5 Star Wars movies to date

All 3 trilogies are dire IMO

Star Wars is probably the only overall entertaining one, despite the dire acting and non-existent chemistry.

The Hobbit is bogged down with po-faced sideplots where it should have just stuck to the fun of the original novel (two 90 minute movies max).

Fantastic Beasts started well, but the other two absolutely dire.

Apologies for overuse of "dire".

Star Wars, even though AOTC isn’t great in my opinion, but ROTS is my personal favourite SW movie after Empire Strikes Back.

Star Wars, but for me it's the lesser of the three evils to choose from.

The Hobbit is the least awful of the three.

It's really not, though. One meh film>2 terrible ones.

Basically all terrible but the SW trilogy is the sweeter smelling turd.

First beasts was good. The rest appalling.

Hobbit trilogy one shortish story dragged over three films. The material wasn't there and it shows. Too much cartoony CGI.

Episode 1 the start of GL's obsession with CGI but models were present and it was shot on film and at least "looked like SW."

Episode 2. I've seen better cut scenes during PS2 games. A terribly boring film.

Episode 3. More of the same from 2 but more polished. Ian McDiarmid's performance, awful. Ruins every scene he is featured in. Anakin's turn is one of the most sought after moments in SW and when it does happen it's unintentionally hilarious. I went opening weekend and the audience couldn't control their laughter; started with chuckles when he was reacting to the Anakin/Dooku fight.

Before full blown howling during the "i'm too weak" moments.

Final fight was ok, but the cutting back to Yoda and Dooku fight undermined it. What direction was McDiarmid given?

But at least episode 3 was entertaining; for the wrong reasons. The "so in love with you scene", hilarious. Anakin declaring how beautiful Padme is but Natalie Portman, who is stunning, is given an appalling amount of blusher and a terrible perm.

For this reason SW has the edge. Because if you approach the final film as a comedy and watch it with friends you can have a lot of laughs. Lots to quote back and forth.

Menace never bothered me like it bothered many. I actually thought it was one of the best SW films when I saw it aged 14.

Star Wars easy. Also lol at the people saying Jackson's bloated ass stretching of Tolkien's kids book is better than Lucas' vision. Never change haters.
