LOS ANGELES, CA (June 7, 2021) – Disney’s “Cruella” arrives early on all major digital platforms on June 25 and on 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD on Sept. 21. Consumers can enjoy never-before-seen bonus footage and deleted scenes in stunning Ultra HD™ quality and Dolby Atmos.

Film Synopsis
“Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. She befriends a pair of young thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they are able to build a life for themselves on the London streets. One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute, played by two-time Oscar® winner Emma Thompson (“Howards End,” “Sense & Sensibility”). But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella.

Disney’s “Cruella” Bonus Features*
Bloopers
Deleted Scenes

Looks like Disney are changing their release tactics again. Last two titles that went on Disney+ for the premiere access had a 10 week gap between going on premiere access and physical release. This has a 17 week window between premiere access and release. Plus that gap between digital release and physical is pretty long.

I'm used to waiting three or four months for a physical release of a theatrically release movie, anyway.

Wow September?!?!? That's pretty far off. Will pick it up either way, but farther away than I anticipated.

After we finished watching this the first time my wife turned to me and said “you have to buy this when it comes out.” No complaints out of me. This movie was a lot of fun.

September is a bit too far for a home media release date, they should probably choose August instead.

It just occurred to me that we got this huge press release, and I started to think “What if the steelbook preorder doesn’t go live until a week before release date?”

It’d be just like Raya and a couple of others. Disney is getting so predictable.

Not 100% sure how accurate this is but a British publication website (digital spy) has the release date marked as 17th August. Not sure if that's the uk release date or how accurate this is. Digital Spy are normally pretty OK at Not posting false information at least to my knowledge. Just thought I would share it with you guys.

My sources has a US release date of August 10 listed, but I think it must have been a delay that they haven't registered yet. I guess the date in the press release is the one to be trusted.
