The trailer on Best Buy's website looks intriguing. Never heard of the film... In for a preorder.

Best Buy lists the UPC as 014381139907 which is (suppose to be) the Steelbook. Find it odd that "Steelbook" isn't listed in the description; just wish Amazon listed UPC codes so I could cross-verify.

FWIW I did pre-order it from Best Buy -- figure I can always return it if it the wrong version. Thx!

Considering the odd movies he's appeared over the past couple years (Mandy, Pig, Color Out of Space, Willy's Wonderland) I can see that quote being an attractive selling point for those who thought his films can't get any weirder.

There were 4 at my store. Each one of them had the front disc loose. Keep that in mind. I thought it was just mine so I went to replace it with one of the 3 remaining on the shelf, but each were the same as I tilted them to check. Stacked discs

Unknown why RLJ decided to order the SteelBook to accommodate stacked discs. I don't believe it was cheaper for them to have them manufactured this way. Someone at RLJ really dropped the ball.

I honestly don't think these are true stacker hubs. Mine feels more like a normal hub and they tried to stack the second disc on top. It barely even clips into the hub, unlike some of the other stack hubs I have in my collection. All of those accommodate both discs quite easily and securely. Not optimum, but better than what I see here. Weird...

Which would explain all the floaters out there... both of my discs were off the hub

Now that I am home and can do some comparisons, I am 99.9% sure that these steelbooks are for single disc use only. I pulled multiple steels off the shelf and every one of my single disc steelbooks has the same identical patent numbers along the inner spine that this release does. All of my multi disc releases have extra patent numbers that the single discs don't. Somebody effed this one up pretty good.
