Watched this tonight, great picture but I was getting static in the audio of the film. No static during the extras.

Anyone else have this issue?

I watched this earlier today and I got no issues with static during the film and I had my amp up quite high to listen to the soundtrack.

The audio issue I had was on the interview with Melanie Williams it sounds at times like a poor mp3 distortion like someone has dropped a CD in water and played it back without drying it out properly.

Sorry to bump but I've just got this and it has by far the worst audio restoration I have ever heard on a disc, even worse than on the BD of Rope.

The noise reduction is so overzealously applied it's left almost nothing behind but whistly artefacts and a ringing reverberation in the dead space. I am amazed this was deemed acceptable - there is nothing wrong with hiss below a certain threshold as the brain filters it out (much like film grain), and a restoration should aim only to bring it slightly down to an 'invisible' level, and only then if it's obtrusive or obscuring dialogue.

It's downright painful on headphones.
