Saw this, Strangers: Prey at Night and Thoroughbirds all in the same day and this was the least likely candidate for a 4K UHD...

The other two films you mention are not Lionsgate films, though. Still, I'll agree that based on the poor box office, this does seem like a strange choice even for Lionsgate, though perhaps they are banking on Cohen's association with The Fast and the Furious to move copies on home video. That has certainly influenced everything in the marketing so far, right down to using the same (or very similar) font on the posters/artwork that the films in the Universal franchise do.

This looked absolutely absurd and totally ridiculous. Just pre ordered from Best Buy along with ANNIHILATION and even though the latter is stir pick up only, I still received for shipping for this. Also, is this an exclusive for a week? BBY has the release date as June 5th whereas Amazon has I for the 12th.
