The old August 19th 2008 first season release and September 22nd 2009 second season release of the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles both contain lossy audio instead of lossless audio. A 4K Blu-ray with lossless audio would be ideal (even a new released standard Blu-ray with lossless audio would be ideal).
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was shot on 35mm film and in the ideal world a 8K or 4K master scan of the original film negative could be done in order to release the TV series on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format in a complete series boxset. If the CGI special effects are at native 1080P instead of native 4K then either new CGI at 4K would need to be created or the existing 1080P CGI would need to be upscaled to 4K. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0851851/technical?ref_=tt_spec_sm Last edited by HDTV1080P; 11-01-2021 at 01:52 PM. |
