I know I've redeemed a couple of digital copy codes on iTunes in the past and got a free 4k upgrade instantly.

So it wouldn't hurt the OP to redeem on iTunes. They should give the upgrade if/when a 4K version if available.

Doesn’t look like the code redeems in iTunes, unless some has changed since this post from last year.

The 4K Collection only redeems on Vudu. For Spectre, there is an old Blu-Ray code that that you can redeem on FoxRedeem.com and select iTunes to get iTunes. There is no other way to get them with iTunes with a code. The codes from the individual 4K's only redeem on Vudu as well.
