Default Buying Norweigan DVDs and Blu-Rays from the US

There is a Noreweigan DVD box set that I am trying to purchase but I have had no luck getting my hands on it. This is due to the fact that many Norweigan DVD retailers do not ship to the US. Is there a website where I can purchase Norweigan DVDs and Blu-Rays from the US?

None of the Norwegian retailers (not that there are that many) ship to the US.

Many Norwegian DVDs/Blu-rays are also sold in the other Nordic countries (Sweden, Denmark, Finland), you might find a store there that ships to the US.

If what you're after is exclusively sold in Norway, you have no other option but to get someone living there to buy it and ship it to you.

I believe https://www.futuremovieshop.fi ships worldwide. Outside Norway, that's the only store in the Nordics that I've used.

I can ship if it’s something I can get my hands on here in Denmark.

I hear your pain, I just discovered a couple of Norwegian two animated films that have blu-rays that I’d like to get ahold of, but the CDON sites don’t appear to give English options and like others seem to mention, may not ship to the U.S.

I’ve been looking for Månelyst i Flåklypa & Solan og Ludvig: Herfra til Flåklypa
Titles which have sometimes been listed in English as Mission to the Moon (similar to Wallace and Gromit’s space adventure) & The Great Cheese Race.
They are modern stop motion descendants of the famous 1975 film Pinchcliffe’s Grand Prix (Flåklypa Grand Prix), which I already have. They are all based on Kjell Aukrust’s illustrations.

I have them both. You're aware those discs are not English friendly, right? Even though the Blu-ray of Flåklypa Grand Prix is.

Yes, I am aware of that. I was figuring I could try syncing them with my English dvds or downloading subs. Interestingly enough, a 3rd film in the series (which I ordered from a seller on Amazon) for Jul or The Snow Machine does have English subs on the blu ray.

One thing I do know is the U.S. dvd of ‘Moon’ from VivaFilms has bad PQ, looks squashed in at times, I may have to try the Australian dvd, of course that may have the same issue
Those two BDs can be had for around $10 each + shipping to the US (which unfortunately isn't the cheapest).

Did you know there’s a fifth movie in the series? (Released in 1998)

It’s very different from the others though, being 2d animation and it feels more like a film-noir than a comedy at times. Only released on DVD though.

I had seen reference to it only a day or so ago, that reference seemed to imply it was more for kids as opposed to the other films being more for everyone. What is your opinion, is the 1998 film aimed at both? I may look it up regardless

It’s been a long time since I saw it, but I remember it being more for adults than kids. It’s not very good though. I remember people being really disappointed when it came out.

What with Shout Factory releasing the Wallace & Gromit series on UHD, it would certainly be nice if someone could release an English-subbed UHD set of the Flåklypa films! With HDR?
