But will it use the actual 4K remaster or their own upscaled fake grain 'remaster'? Should be the former.

Doesn't bode all that well for a Euro UHD from Universal tho, but maybe this is a holdover from turbine's existing license for Twister? If Uni don't do it themselves then I hope other indies in other countries are able to get it.

I am confident Turbine will use proper 4K remaster and possibly come up with a better artwork.

Should be, but I wouldn't put anything past Turbine. I won't be at all shocked if they double down on their 2021 'remaster' and go full No Escape on this thing, adding their insufferable brand of AI enhancement

[Show spoiler]

I’m sure they use the new director-approved master but it’ll be interesting which Atmos track they use - the new WB track or their homebrewed mix. I hope we’ll get some info and comparisons as to which one’s more remixed than the other.

Turbine’s 4K encoding on their good masters is very good. Maybe it’ll be a situation like The Outsiders where the SC version is much superior than the WB.

If Turbine handle this in Germany, I think it's only fair that Arrow handle it for the UK

Not just Atmos but Auro 3D ultra holosonic big-balls 51-channel sound as well, all direktor-approved of coursh.

Right, I think that's everything off of the bingo card, I'll leave the thread in peace.

Is it? I've yet to see someone clearly say so, let alone a comparison.

re. Twister: I'd surely buy Turbine over Warner or Universal (if they don't do special sauce). And I don't feel sorry for those who bought the BD, especially those not seeing any problem, but arguing instead, even when putting their nose to it.

Don't forget the extra disc with the open matte presentation so we can see all the dolly tracks and boom mics

That's what I am hoping. Though I was hoping for a Universal release, if only because their BD was better than the Warner one and the art was better also.

Rather than start a new thread. Universal are releasing the UHD+BD in the UK but as a LE collectors steelbook for £45.

Extras:
- Individually Numbered Edition Exclusive to the UK - Rigid Slipcase, 2-Disc Steelbook, Production Notes Booklet, Lobby cards & Double-Sided Poster.
Bonus features - 4K New: The Legacy of Twister: Taken By The Wind. Plus Feature Commentary by Director Jan De Bont, The Making of Twister, Anatomy of a Twister, Chasing the Storm: Twister Revisited - TBC

Says it has Atmos audio. Presume for the UHD although may be on BD as well.

Listed by both Zavvi and HMV.

Turbine has been quiet lately for 4Ks. After a few releases, they seem to have stopped all together. Their last new release was back in March with Barb Wire. Wasn't there a rumor they were doing Abigail as well and then it was canceled?
