There are WAY too many scammers out there, who will offer some crazy deal and you get something else in the box or a broken unit. Ebay offers a protection of sorts and every seller is under a rating system so you can check to see how a guy there, is on the 'up and up' or not.

I would not advise getting one from Craigslist, Kijiji etc where you have no recourse should you get cheated. Seriously, just save your bucks and get the PS5 without the extra controller and digital game included. You'll have full warranty, a place to return to (retailer). Sony is not placing these on sale anytime soon, so just save a bit longer... you'll be glad you did.

Don't do it. As mentioned, virtually any PS5 you find online at much of a discount from retail is almost certainly some sort of scam. I'd only buy this kind of console from a major retailer or possibly an Ebay seller with a sterling reputation. There is very little chance you're going to find one below MSRP any time soon.
