I love this movie. It's suitable Weird enough to be Confusing in a perfect way, and almost "NorBal" enough to follow. The Characters are really interesting and virtually every Actor gets to be a little odd. Keith Carradine, Lesley Ann Warren, and Geneviève Bujold are all great in their Roles, but I love John Larrochet in his minor part.
It's also a really gorgeous movie. I love the Dark Night Alley Streets and the Neon. Very Coppola, "One From the Heart"-like. Personally, I think Alan Rudolph has Written and Directed a really compelling drama of the Bizarre-but-not-too-bizarre. I'd love to see a BR release... or even a nice 1080p streaming of it. |
