Just watched the original again. Was broadcast on Aussie free to air (network) TV, so I chucked in the BD to avoid commercials.
Quite enjoyed BS1.
Will import BS2 from the US, as it won't be released in Australia in 4K...

Australia is missing out on a lot of 4K releases.
"Sully" is one of the latest examples of where my money is going to the US, because Aussie dizzys won't jump on the 4K bandwagon.

Madman handled distribution of BS2 in Australia, for whatever reason. Madman are good for some stuff, but they're pretty hopeless with new releases. We won't get 4K, it won't have subtitles, and the extras will probably amount to raw EPK interviews.

Other than the Best Buy link (where you still can't pre-order it), is there any confirmation that Bad Santa 2 actually is coming out on a UHD disc? Amazon has it for pre-order as a conventional Blu-ray, but no indication it will be available in 4K.

You can now pre-order the 4K disc of Bad Santa 2 from Best Buy. Weird that Amazon doesn't show the 4K UHD disc as being available for pre-order.

If the pre-order is live, does that mean it's definitely coming, or is there still a slight chance the release might be cancelled? I'm checking back everyday to see if there's an Amazon link.

One supposes everything will fall into place when a press release finally lands. Since the BD is coming next month, one supposes the good folks at Universal are still finalising specs and extras, etc.

It is definitely coming. Best Buy has the official cover artwork up.

Strange thing with this title. Best Buy lists Broadgreen as studio for the DVD and Blu-ray release, but Universal is listed as studio for the 4K UHD release.

Is that possible, or is it an error by Best Buy?
