Default James Dean 70th Anniversary Collection UHD

Yeah we are 3 and a bit year's out still. But I'll make the bold prediction, if the WA is still going strong, this will be their first official UHD release.

Or perhaps Criterion will carry it.

Whatever the case may be, it has to happen surely.

I'd buy these all! It looks like The Outsiders is considered Warner Archive 4k. They posted it on their Instagram with the other releases of the month.

I seen that as well. I think it's just handled by WA, than a release by them.

I'd like if whoever indeed does end up handling it, will include the Chris Busone song American Rebel. Yeah it's hopelessly 80s, and maybe a bit on the smoltzy side. But I love it.

Unfortunately Warner has only 3 pre-1970 UHD’s in 5 years of the format:

Maybe things will speed up now Criterion is the game but I’m skeptical it’ll be enough for a boxset of 50’s titles. Honestly I’d settle for a Rebel 70th UHD. Maybe we’ll have all three in time Dean’s 100th birthday?

Also do Warner Archive ever release boxsets without releasing individual first?
