Its Mill Creek, they just revamped their service and renamed it. Almost all the films are public domain so they cost nothing anyways.

Is there any way to see what movies are in the bundle? Redeemed the code but can't unpack the bundle. The layout of the site is confusing to say the least.

It took me some time to figure it out because their library/store combination is such a hot mess.

Hover over your name in the top right corner and then click on Library. Then click on the bundle icon in your library.
Only the very top row and the genre selections are your library. The rows of titles below that are for sale.

I think. I'm pretty sure.

I checked about a dozen movies, but all of them looked like crappy VHS fullscreen transfers. Has anyone found a movie that has decent OAR video?

Mill Creek is capable of good HD widescreen transfers. I just don't see anything of worth watching quality in this bundle.

There are a handful that look okay or at best pretty good (a few are widescreen, many of these movies might have been 1.37 anyway, or they didn't care how it was cut). Most are awful quality, material (movie itself) awful so. . . . no way to get funds to restore this stuff. Free 100 movies and another 100 for $1, they'll just be scanning whatever VHS or crap copy they can get. Definitely only about quantity on Spree

Do the movies in the free 100 bundle (or the 100 more for $1 bundle) change over time or are they set as-is? Just curious. I just signed up and there are a couple in the free 100 that I would eventually watch (although I may have the better ones on DVD already), but they wouldn't be in the near future.

And, Santa With Muscles (Hulk Hogan) is currently available to stream for free.

They also have several Shark-themed sales going on in preparation for the upcoming Shark Week (including Street Sharks, the complete series for $4.99 -- a campy 90's animated series that looks like TMNT with Sharks).

I've never watched it before, but picked up the series cheap and watched the first one last weekend. Definitely a 90's era cartoon, but was entertaining.

Oh bugger, I actually want to watch a purchase, and all I get is a damn spinning buffering circle.

Well, finally got to work, but they are saying my purchase is a frigging rental.
I DID NOT BUY A RENTAL, I MADE A PURCHASE TO OWN.
This is in regard to the Mini Series bundle I bought a few days ago.
There was no reason for Moviespree to go into rental territory, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'll just post this since there's likely others that use Spree that visit this thread.

For just over a week, I've been unable to access some of the series that I've purchased (or redeemed codes for) on Movie Spree. That specifically affects some of the animated series (like Street Sharks, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, Archie's Weird Mysteries) but also at least one movie (Gone in 60 Seconds).

The items work just fine from the web browser on my laptop, however when trying to access them through the app on my AppleTV, I get an error indicating I need to purchase the titles. The mass email they sent out a couple of weeks ago suggests ensuring the app is up to date (which I have, and also updated the OS on the AppleTV) and logging out and back in. I went ahead and set the clear cache setting to on, logged out, restarted, and then logged back in but got the same error.

Interestingly, that miniseries bundle works just fine for me.

Anyone else seeing these problems?
