I really enjoyed this, but I thought it took a big dip on season three, nowhere near as good as the first two, & I nearly didn't bother with season four, but I'm glad I did, as it was great. Maybe it was just me with season three.

WOW! I actually purchased this on VUDU a few months back because the DVDs were so expensive and I figured it would never get a blu-ray release. I'll probably end up picking this up as well. As CinemaScope said the quality did take a massive nosedive in the third season, however the final season (which is more like a glorified miniseries) is honestly some of the best 4 hours of television I've ever watched. I still remember my roommates and I literally balling our eyes out watching the final episodes during a free showtime weekend.

Great show, just don't know that I'd re-watch it. For those who haven't seen it before, it might be worth checking out.

Season 3 is rough, but the 4 hour long episodes that make up the last season are quite good and brought the show back to its initial focus and heart.

Part of the Sony/Mill Creek deal, The Big C: The Complete Series will be released on April 16th.

Not sure how they'll break it down, but it will be all 4 seasons (40 episodes) spread out on 6 discs.

Did anybody ever get this? I read the review, but would like to hear some actual first hand accounts. How is the picture? It's currently part of Deep Discount's Mill Creek sale and there's a 15% off code, I'm on the fence about it. I watched it when it aired, but just not sure if I'd rewatch it... but if it's closer to the Masters of Sex quality instead of something they did well, I won't bother.
