United Kingdom Donnie Brasco

Guys, i need you help.

Is the following release worth it?

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Donni...lu-ray/178082/

It is important to me, that both cuts are on blu-ray and both with lossless sound.

But i couldn't find a datasheet.....anywhere.

It only has the Extended Cut.

If you want the Theatrical Cut, it's available from Mill Creek in the US cheap.

Why not look here
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparison....php?fid=11043

Mill Creek is only lossy audio plus RA locked.
Best with both versions and lossless audio is the Turbine German release.

Why not look at the link I provided.
Says the discs have English and German subtitles so unlikely.

I did look, but even its unlikely, it is not impossible. For example, the german company "Birnenblatt" released "The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" including german AND english subitles. But they translated the title to "Vergiss mein nicht".

As has been made clear, if you want both cuts on Blu with lossless sound, Turbine is your only option, even at the unlikely risk of them using a located master. You could always just mail them and ask...

It indeed is. It's the US master.

Is the German Turbine release still the one to go for with BOTH cuts of 'Donnie Brasco'?

Where is the best place to get this from?

The Turbine release(s) would appear to be out of print.

On the other hand, this came out in France quite recently:

Mine doesn't, unless it's on the DVD.

Might be wrong as I don’t have the disc close to hand to check, but I seem to recall that the blu ray is the extended cut and the DVD is the theatrical cut?

You're not wrong, the Premium Edition includes the extended cut on Blu-ray and the theatrical cut on DVD.

So - in the absence of the out-of-print German release... the French release is the one to get (to have BOTH cuts in HD on blurays)?
