Looks like the UK will finally be getting the Hogwarts Collection. Amazon has put up a signup page showing a November 24th release date, as well as it being an Amazon.co.uk exclusive.

Was wondering if we were going to be getting this. Better alternative for those that want all of the disc content and don't care about the collectibles.
I really don't need it, but my Wizards' collection is rather annoyingly ruined by my copy of Deathly Hallows Part 1 on Blu-Ray being scratched and parts of the film get skipped. I can't just use the standard edition disc either as the disc art doesn't match up. Really annoying. Not sure I would be willing to pick this up either, given that I've already bought all of the films multiple times. (Love them!) I am also holding out hope that Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them's release may be an opportunity for WB to release more extended cuts of the films and/or 3D editions of each of the films. Still remaining hopeful for particularly the latter! |

I own the 8-film boxset as well but, for the right price, would be tempted by this for the 3D copies of 7 and 8, the extended version of 1 and 2 and the 8-part documentary. |

I'm looking forward to getting an inexpensive box set with all the extras and with the correct title for the first movie! ![]() |

2. I know this is a site about Blu-ray Discs but many people on here such as myself have DVDs also. 3. Whilst this may be the case, in my opinion, it's not something I can see many people finding important enough to replace their non-special feature box sets with seeing as the main draw is the movies themselves. |

It's not pointless it's just not for you. There's a huge difference. (Though why youd settle for DVD is a mystery...) You know, it's OK to just to not want something, DalekBuster. You don't need to justify not wanting a set by dismissing it as pointless or coming up with a bizarre reason (like how Sherlock will, by your estimates, end after series 4 and so you don't want series 3 yet) and coming back with twisted logic replies to justify that justification. It's OK to simply not want to spend money on something ![]() Last edited by Buddy Ackerman; 09-10-2014 at 09:25 AM. |

I just don't see the point in double dipping. I own it. It's watchable. And there are no problems with it. Therefore it does the job.

I own the films already in a form of a 1-5 box set and individual copies of the others, but it would be nice to have them all in one pretty collection. I've avoided the generic 1-8 set because I think it's ugly.
I'm assuming this'll include the extended versions of 1 & 2 in HD ala the US set? |
