Burke & Hare also doesn't have a US Blu-ray. I actually really like that one.

"As Writer" is kind of a stretch. Landis only came up with the basic story idea for Clue. The actual screenplay was written by Jonathan Lynn.

Hey, I own most of those!

I do wish Arrow had been able to license Animal House and The Blues Brothers... they'd look great alongside Werewolf but I imagine Universal wanted to keep them for themselves.

And I don't see this ever happening, but I'd love for Universal to revisit Blues Brothers 2000 (or better yet, license it to Arrow or Kino), if only to get the deleted scenes and a new Landis interview. Needless to say, he knows it's not a good movie, soundtrack notwithstanding.

Wasn't there a 3-D conversion of Thriller in the works at one point?

Yes, there was a 3-D conversion of Thriller. They screened it at the Toronto International Film Festival a few years ago. There's been hope that it would be released on 3D Blu-Ray but nothing so far.

It might be with MGM. It's production company The Kushner-Locke Company was purchased by Multicom Entertainment US. I don't know who distributes for them, but they had something to do with the rights to the MTV Teen Wolf tv show, which is distributed by MGM on DVD.

Spies Like Us needs a standalone release with a fresh transfer. I thought for sure Shout would’ve scooped it up for the Select line.

Especially with that 4K transfer they did that showed before The House with a Clock In Its Walls a few years back. It was in 3D for some reason but it was awesome seeing it on the big screen. It looked and sounded phenominal.
