Default Noomi Rapace or Rooney Mara?

As Lisbeth Salander, in the adaptations of Stieg Larsson's "Millennium Trilogy" who is your favorite?

Of course, we only have one film with Rooney and three with Noomi. So, maybe this isn't a fair poll. But I'm curious what people have to say!

Rooney Mara played the role as more vulnerable, Noomi Rapace was more kick-ass. Both were good, but Rapace was more fun even if I thought that the Fincher version was the better film.

I think that's a good assessment. I'm half-way through re-watching the Swedish version, and I'm leaning toward Rooney, but I think that the Fincher film is far superior and thus influencing my opinion.

I think in the end though though that it's just cool that we got two different interpretations, and both well done, of the same character.

Noomi, always. I'm so glad she is doing another movie with Hardy. They have some unforced chemistry on screen. Rooney felt like someone playing punker dress up, I found Noomi to be more believable.

I like Mara's performance and it reminded me more of the literary Lisbeth but Rapace's is the best performance.

That being said I prefer the Fincher version and everyone else is better, Craig's Blomvist is much better than Nyqvist, he plays the character with more uncertainty. Nyquist plays him too cocky.

Mikhael has had a real knock to his ego and I really get that in his performance plus the chemistry between Craig and Mara is excellent, this and other aspects make me think Fincher's film is superior.

Lets face it Oplev was riffing off Fincher for the Swedish version anyway, Oplev is a bit of hack in comparison to Fincher, just look at what he's done since Tattoo.

I like Rooney Mara the best as Lisbeth Salander, but I think that the Swedish adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the best adaptation by far in all other regards.

Noomi, simply because she has much more presence as an actress. As I haven't read the books, I dunno which portrayal is the most faithful one, and to be honest, I don't care.

Noomi Rapace probably just because I saw the Swedish version first, I like the Swedish version better also.

Noomi and prefer the Swedish trilogy over the Fincher film, even though the Fincher film is excellent.

Noomi, although Rooney's portrayal is equally superb, and I loved Fincher's version.
