Already have the import blu from the Italian Michael J. Fox collection, but I'd possibly double dip if the a/v is improved. Though I doubt it since it's probably the same old Universal. Always enjoyed these lower key MJF comedies from the early 90s as a kid such as this, Life with Mikey and Greedy.

Haven't seen it since the early to mid 90s and need to get around to watching the import blu set I have, but I enjoyed watching it a lot on the premium channels as a kid. I'd also highly recommend Greedy for anyone who hasn't seen it. The ending is arguably still one of the funniest surprises I've ever seen.

It's hard to reject Michael J. Fox movies.

I like both movies. I'm hoping we can get the 1963 movie if Kino does another deal with Universal. It has a great cast (Kirk Douglas, Mitzi Gaynor, Thelma Ritter, Gig Young, Julie Newmar, Leslie Parrish, William Bendix, Dick Sargent and even Edy Williams) and a nice score by De Vol:
![]() There have been two DVD releases: It was first released in Universal's "Vault Series" DVD-R series and then later included in the Kirk Douglas: The Centennial Collection DVD box set. |

I blind bought this and just got done watching it. I remember when this was in theatres. I've always wanted to see it but never got around to it for some reason. I enjoyed it. Fun movie with a very satisfying ending. Michael J. Fox is great. Transfer is pretty solid too.
EDIT: Oh yeah. Was that Hamptons house the same one that was used in Wolf of Wall Street? I think it was. Last edited by MassiveMovieBuff; 11-07-2021 at 02:31 AM. |

I just saw they knocked this down a few extra dollars, so went ahead and ordered it. I can retire my DVD.
"Doc Hollywood", "Greedy", and this film all have a special place in my heart. They're the "other" MJF trinity. ![]() |
