Default Any word on when Star 80 and Fort Apache The Bronx will be released

I would love to see Bob Fossee's Star 80 and Fort Apache The Bronx released on blu ray. They are both on dvd but why no blu ray? Both are great films

I just got the DVd for fort apache, meaning the BD will be no faraway, given my usual murphy's law when it comes to buying DVDs

Star 80 is believed to be with another label (Shout or Criterion), if not though Warner Archive themselves.

Warner owns the Time Life Films catalog (which includes Fort Apache The Bronx) from the 1990 Time Inc. merger. That's not to say someone in Germany could put it out as WB doesn't have international rights to the Time Life catalog as they don't have some of the HBO Films titles (like Switched, which got a release in Germany from one of the international rights holders).

I would love to see Warner Archive put both of these out. Fort. Apache is one of Paul Newman’s best films!
