I would love to see Bob Fossee's Star 80 and Fort Apache The Bronx released on blu ray. They are both on dvd but why no blu ray? Both are great films

Star 80 is believed to be with another label (Shout or Criterion), if not though Warner Archive themselves.
Warner owns the Time Life Films catalog (which includes Fort Apache The Bronx) from the 1990 Time Inc. merger. That's not to say someone in Germany could put it out as WB doesn't have international rights to the Time Life catalog as they don't have some of the HBO Films titles (like Switched, which got a release in Germany from one of the international rights holders). |
