Eric Binford (Dennis Christopher, Breaking Away, It) lives for the movies. He works at a 35mm print depot as a delivery boy, but spends all of his free time watching classic films and collecting Hollywood memorabilia. Endlessly tormented by his colleagues, Eric drifts further and further into a dream world where he embodies the screen characters that he so deeply worships. However, when the teasing pushes him too far, he snaps and dons the outfits of his big screen idols and begins killing off his tormentors in outrageous recreations of his favorite film scenes.

Limited edition slipcover with first pressing.

One of my favorite VS releases, great to see it getting a 4K upgrade. I wonder if they're doing any other VS 4K upgrades.

The Blu Ray was pretty damn solid, so it’s hard to get too excited about this, even though I love movies like Fade to Black.

If they’re dealing with more Trancas (Compass) releases, I’d prefer an upgrade of Hell Night with the embattled OCN being used.

VS’s Fade to Black Blu is already great. Hard to get excited about this.

Echoing the sentiment that it’s hard to get excited when I picked up the VS disc during subscriber your week.

Thank your friends who dumped money into VS that week to get this release to happen.

Can only speak for myself, but I think most of us would have been just fine living with the already fantastic VS release. If that Blu was poor, this would be a good choice for an upgrade, but it isn't. This falls in the prime examples of many boring, bare minimum work re-releases.

Would have loved a juicy fresh to disc announcement or DVD upgrade instead of this. Even an upgrade of a really old Blu would have been more exciting. Always pleased for die hard fans of the film, but another wasted annoucement imo.

Pretty sure there would have been more replies for something Amityville 2, Campfire Tales, The Willies etc.

I'm assuming VS didn't bother holding on to rights to this is because they don't want to upgrade films to 4K.. include them in the sub package .. and then have customers get mad that they're re-releasing the same titles.

So I'm hoping SF puts out 4Ks for .. Xmas Evil ...and .. Slaughterhouse .. as well.

In that case, I am genuinely interested to see how much uptick the PQ provides on this. I don't think we are talking 'Vampires' type difference, but curious all the same.

Christmas Evil I would love a 4K of... I would think VS would want to upgrade a few titles here and there. But I can see some SUBs getting angry over upgrades... then again I'd guess some would appreciate some VS upgrades.

Hey Joel!

Do we know anyone that may be releasing .. Humongous .. or ... Neon Maniacs .. on 4K? I missed those on Blu.

And this Rambo set from LG is definitely coming, then? Should I unload my old 4Ks?

Well I'll be damned. I never thought I'd be upgrading my VinSyn BD anytime soon if ever.

The way VS and other labels are doing upgrades of previous labels titles, I would be fairly confident that we will see Humongous from Scream or VS. Same with Neon Maniacs.

Cliff said he was working on it for LG, and he was doing a thorough job of it from the sounds of things, so I can't see them pulling the plug. You should be safe to unload your 4Ks.

I never even watched my VS Blu-Ray yet, I'm kinda pissed off about this as I can't recoup my investment.

I liked the movie, but can't say I liked it enough to double dip on the 4k. I was curious why VS didn't originally release this as a 4k back in the day since it was a pretty big get for them at that point in time.
