(LCD)Motion resolution possibly takes a dip, when processing of 24p content, the additional 5 frames could be occupying pixels. Even though the milliseconds for pixel response time is pretty low(5-8ms), those numbers are native with no processing at 120hz.
Other drawbacks, based on my limited test are color saturation, obviously motion resolution, and peak brightness. Im hoping someone with the proper tools that can test this theory for me, as what I'm seeing on my display while viewing UHD Bluray content has me visually convinced. Note: My current display has a IPS panel with a pixel response time of 4ms. |
