Default FARGO: The Complete Series (When?)

Will 2025 bring us the complete series of FARGO?

Is there anyone "in the know" out there?

I don't think anyone has officially said the anthology series is done, have they?

I've still not seen past season 2 due to the disc releases drying up, I need to watch the rest at some point but I really enjoyed the first two seasons.

Well good then. As long as the main writer/creator and the Cohen Brothers stay involved, I look forward to a Season 6 if indeed that happens.

The Coen brothers have never been involved with this series.

Yeah, it's been Noah Hawley's series all the way. It probably will be a while if there's another season as Hawley's been busy with the FX Alien series set on Earth. 8 episodes this coming summer with Timothy Olyphant involved (although he's not the lead).

I believe they executive produced. They got some kind of mention in the credits.

That’s more of a formality. Love the show though, hate that they stopped releasing the series on bluray.

I have seasons 1 & 2 and don’t really need 4, but I’d gladly pay for a series set to get seasons 3 & 5.

Season 3 has a DVD release if that helps you.

^ Yeah, I’ve been holding off, but maybe I could trigger a BD release if I bought it.

I have the first two seasons on Blu-Ray and would gladly get the third and fourth if they're ever released. Thought S5 was mediocre.

Season 5 was my 3rd favorite after season 2 and 1.

Many, many "producer" credits just mean that the person or persons get a slice of the pie due to rights ownership and have NO creative input. IIRC the Coens liked the pitch for season 1 and gave Hawley their blessing but had nothing to do with it other than that.

I would guess Season 6 won't hit tv screens for another 3-5 years.

The Alien series will most definitely get more viewership than Fargo which means they will prioritize more seasons of it.

Love all the seasons except the fourth. Can’t wait for what Hawley’s masterful storytelling can bring to an Alien show.

I would buy a 5 season BLU-RAY box set or individual releases. I’m still setting on my Season 1 & 2 bluray, I got a cheap season 3 on DVD but hate that it is not on Blu…I bought season 3 used for like $5 bucks I think. I paid full price on the Blu sets on release date and would do so with any further blurays

Agreed. I think everyone interested in this thread would have no problem buying up the Fargo series on Blu-ray. Whether or not a 6th season comes, it would be nice to physically own.
