I haven't gone down the animated road and usually just Live-Action.

I know there are a lot of animated movies that are part of the DC series.

I either take the plunge or run away fast and hard lol

Is this the first 4k steelbook of all of the DC animated movies?

No. Target used to sell 4K steelbooks of the DC animated movies all the time a couple years ago, but then they stopped for some reason. I'm glad to see they're back. Too bad I don't like Injustice. Hard pass.

Which already showed 21, now this makes 22 on 4k.

I don't even think I can afford to go down this road lol

Does 4k really make a difference when it comes to these animated movies?

Maybe if I can get these 4k steelbooks for $20 each as they're released, I may consider it.

As excited as I am to see this adapted, I can't help but feel this would have been better served as a limited animated series instead. The comics really fleshed out this set up, seems a shame to just adapt the story of game 1. But still cant wait to watch and see what they pull off.

Interesting.The Long Halloween steelbooks from Best Buy were Blu Ray only.This is 4K + Blu Ray.

The Long Halloween wasn’t released in 4K so no steelbook. When the 4K comes out it may have a steelbook then.

The Long Halloween is getting a 4K release when they do the complete cut.

As for this, I'm getting this steelbook day one!

The comics were pretty good in the beginning but went way off the rails later, so hopefully they stick to the earlier stuff. In general I like these DC animated movies, so I'll probably get this to go with all the other 4Ks. Dont know if I'll go for the steel though since I tend to be able to get the normal 4Ks pretty cheap after release.
