Alright... Hello again everyone!
![]() k, see, ive got this mp4. its... its a very large mp4. You know... 7 gigs-ish? ![]() Any ideas on how to transfer it to the PS3? i think ive tried literally everything. Ive tried using a media server. it recognized EVERY SINGLE FILE in the folder except for, of coarse, the one i needed it to recognize. I played around with that for a little while, but i realised that my PC simply hates me and doesnt want me to transfer that file. SO!... i upload my file to the internet. This HAS to work? right? ...nope. I used the ps3 browser to attempt to download the movie. It recognizes it as a video and trys to save it to the VIDEO part in the xmb. Yay! Its working? ...i wish. It gets to %99, says "Pending" flashes "Downloading" every couple of seconds just to annoy me, then restarts back at %0 just to do the same thing again. -.-.... What next? Ipod? YES! I have an 80 gig ipod with only 6 gigs being used on it. So i open itunes, click "enable hard drive usage thing" or whatever it was that lets me use it as an external hard drive... Alright. this has to work. Right? Right!? haha. ...nope. See, i can drag small little things over to the ipod to use it as an external hard drive. I tried doing it with some themes and it worked fine. of corse, ive got over 70 gigs to mess with here so my hard disk cant POSSIBLY be full. well, not according to windows! I get my file (Its a transformers HD-DVD converted into mp4 format by the way. this explains the large file size. had to get rid of the 5.1 to convert it though ![]() YA...Y?? Wait? What? Its full!? Well, according to windows, its full. ...thats right. windows thinks its full. if i right click it, and click properties it says ive got 70-somthing gigs left but when i try to drag my 7 gig movie over to it, it manages to randomly fill itself up somehow! Great! Its incredibly weird. theres nothing wrong with the video... i can watch it with VLC... but thats no fun. i wanna be able to say "Harhar! I have an HD-DVD running on my PS3!" ![]() Any ideas? i know talking about illegal things is forbidden and what-not, but just dont think of it like that. think of it more like "How to transfer a really big file to the PS3 without an external hard-drive" type of thing. you know? ...dont ban me ![]() ![]() ![]() Anybody have any ideas? im fresh out... |
