Honestly I'm mixed about this. This is great news for us Adult film fans but does this mean we're getting even more improved transfers for Taboo and Taboo 2 that we should've already got? What about all the Seka and Marilyn Chambers titles that still haven't been released? I don't know what to think.

Almost all of VS's porn titles were scanned in 2K, and I highly doubt they're gonna do new scans for a UHD release, so I don't think we'll be seeing too many more upgrades (the Taboos were all 2K, for example). SexWorld is one of the very few that already had a 4K scan available.

It's a minor issue but this package being inserted into a blu-ray case is real turn off.

Seems like one extreme (a minor issue) to other (a real turn off) to me. But at least it’s a clear blu-ray case and not a blue one. Now that would be unsightly.

They did mention on the site it was due to Viva having manufacturing issues with 3 disc 4K cases.

Once they can source quality 4K cases, they will have them on sale for a discounted price.

Yeah I noticed that too, but the language is a little unclear. Could be they started over using the existing raw 4K scan and just did a whole new clean up and color correction process.
