Great film, glad to see it's getting a UK release. Will definitely pick this one up.

It would be awesome if we got the original unmolested theatrical version on blu! That's always been the only version for me.

At last! More than likely it's a port of the 'Director's Definitve Cut', as the 'Director's Expanded Edition' on R1 DVD was widely considered a travesty of a great film, lessening the bloodshed, cutting out some of the best lines and adding some superfluous footage.

If it's a WB release, it's likely the theatrical cut. I have the R3 Korean DVD which was a WB disc and that has the theatrical version(plus an isolated score).

Makes sense, all Warner ever released on DVD was the theatrical. They probably only have rights to the theatrical in the first place, and I'll gladly buy it.

Checked again with Warner Bros. not so long ago and it is still due "Mid 2012" along with Space Jam and Watership Down.

Exclamation The covering

The covering on the UK release will probably look like shit as it always does. The US release covers usually end up twice as good.

Funny how people in the US say we in the UK get better covers

Yeah, although with Warner's trend lately regarding catalogues, it's probably delayed indefinitely.

You heard wrong.

I'm now assuming that this won't be released as you can't order it and there's no info anywhere (incl BVA).
Why do Warners hate the UK so much? So many catalogue titles that have never seen even a glimmer of a release here. I simply don't get what their problem is when the UK is one of the biggest markets?
