Default French distrib MK2 to drop HDDVD?

During the last 2 weeks I have been talking to a fellow reviewer and editor at another French site trying to clarify whether or not MK2, the notorious French powerhouse, are set to drop HDDVD. And it appears that they are. Marin Karmitz and Co. have already set a date for Gus Van Sant's PARANOID PARK which will arrive as a single DVD, 2DVD, and BR on April 24th.

An HDDVD release isn't announced.

Up to this point MK2 were indeed touted as "neutral" given that they did indeed release Francois Truffault's 400 Blows in red and blue cases.

For the record a large portion of MK2's catalog is distributed by Warner-France including the films of Charles Chaplin.
