Can you believe that it was nearly 25 years since the mutants named after renaissance giants debuted?

I just watched TMNT for the first time in high def on HBOHD, not a bad movie at all. I would like it if they did a new live action movie with a darker tone to it a la the dark night. The Turtles franchise definatly has some life left in them.

Wow it's been 25 years? I can still remember watching Vanilla Ice on the movie screen like it was yesterday laughing at how he was in the TMNT movie.

I was trying to forget that thanks.

And as to the person who mentioned that the Turtles should be darker, I remember the first movie giving kids nightmares because their stupid parents brought them to the movie theaters thinking that it would be a bubbly popcorn flick and they got the first movie.

It was quite dark for it's day.

My introduction to TMNT. Still have it tucked away...somewhere.

After reading #5 I went back and found 3,4 and 5. I wound up with #3-34 or so. Wonder if they're worth anything.

Blame the OP not me, he bought back that tortured repressed memory from my childhood. It's no wonder that I used to drink heavily! I had to suffer through the indignities of VI during my youth!

Do you think they will come out as a trilogy on blu or will they release them one by one. I tought that TMNT and TMNT II were the best ones the third was ok. But yeah i am a fan of the turtles.

According to the wiki article "TMNT (film)" they are trying to get a live action sequel to the CGI film. Being that this is wikipedia who knows how true that is.

Default TMNT 1990 4k restoration

For anyone who would like to express interest in having a 4k release of the 1990 film, I've started a petition recently on change.org to WB to grant the rights to Shout! For a full 4k restoration and premium release. You can sign it at the link below and if anyone cares to share where there may be interest it can help immensely! Thank you!
