This might be the strangest UHD listing ever. I can't think of anything this film has achieved since its release that would warrant a 4K UHD upgrade.

That said, I own the Blu-ray but never watched it. I don't even think I opened it, actually. If this actually materializes, I will probably get it and probably sell off the Blu-ray.

I optimistically wonder if this means that Lionsgate are gearing up to release more UHD titles, possibly as single UHD discs. I could get behind that if it means more upgrades.

Oh wow. I remember when I just started getting in 4K last year I didn't know why not all of the new releases were on the format and this was one of them. I don't know what this movie is about but I'll definitely be getting it.

A few recent UHDs from Warner have been MOD, like Cry Macho, Reminiscence, The Many Saints of Newark, and King Richard. And like mentioned above Liongate's American Underdog.

What made Lionsgate wanna release this so late, I mean I think they've should've just did it alongside the Blu-ray last year.
Btw, this movie was pretty terrible too, the only half-decent Deon Taylor movie is Black and Blue (2019).

Probably just the first of many MOD releases from Lionsgate. Might as well get some mileage from these movies that are already mastered in 4K for digital.
