They really want to announce their arrival into 4K territory.

But seriously, they've had five years to spend designing all new covers. Should've just left it alone.

Mulholland Drive's cover is the same thing as the original release. I do like it though.

I had a feeling they would go with their og Criterion Laserdisc artwork but boy was I wrong.

Not feeling the "K" at all.

The cover sucks, but I don't own the film and I've never seen it. So I'll be snagging a copy during the next sale

If they even thought of giving a film as praised as Citizen Kane a cover like this, I fear what they'll do for A Hard Day's Night and other future catalog 4K titles. I pray Barry Lyndon is spared from a horrendous cover like this.

I don't mind minimalist, in fact for a film like this, a minimalist cover works better than an elaborate collage/poster...but this is just a letter. I bet downloading the font used in this cover took longer than creating the cover itself.

Given what they did for Mulholland Drive I imagine future BD to UHD upgrades will feature the exact same image.

Yeah, so either hold on the your Warner Blu-ray or wait for the possibility PBS releasing the documentary on Blu-ray themselves (since they own it).

I love minimalism. I love Saul Bass' work, I love Peter Seville. It looks like an attempt was made, once, someone liked it and then it was out the door. I get what's being tried but it's meh. It feels unfinished.

Well I will always remember that the doc is on the WB set and Sam Leve can verify. He was there!!! He's not telling any stories!!!
