Default Do you manually select a "best" audio option when you watch a film?

How pro-active are you in watching a film with the "best" sound option (whatever that option is)? Is it something that you make a point of selecting every time you watch a film? Or do you not even care as long as something audible is coming out of the speakers? Do you just let the TV/player decide? Do you only select options that your system plays best?
