Noah Baumbach's early film Mr. Jealousy (1997) is apparently getting a Blu-ray release next January. No idea if this is really happening, and/or whether it'll be a pressed disc, etc..

Wonder if Noah will be like his friend Wes and try to get his films on Criterion. So far he's got three and I could see them re-releasing Kicking & Screaming. Maybe they'll release Meyerowitz Stories too.
And if Mr Jealousy is getting a release it makes me wonder from who and if his other films like Margot at the Wedding and Highball get a release too at some point.

This one surprised me with how much I dug it considering I had never heard anyone mention it prior to watching. Smartly written and performed.

I'm down for this (hope this company puts out a quality disc).

So I decided to relook up what Baumbach had on blu-ray and I noticed that this is coming out in over a month.
Yet it's not available for pre-order on Amazon and it's from a company that doesn't have anything to their name when it comes to home releases.

So is this just wind being blown?

There is a link to preorder from amazon under the poster in the first post and it links correctly to the preorder on amazon. I noticed the same company had a pair of Alan Rudolph movies, Afterglow and Ray meets Helen. Alan Rudolph is a favorite of mine.

Anyone heard anything about this release? It is now coming out in 2 weeks, but no Amazon preorder and only the "temp artwork". Strange

I was wondering the same thing. I had it ordered but canceled because I didn’t know the label and was curious if it was pressed or burnt and wanted info about quality before I bought it.

The DVD seems to have been pushed back to March 30, so I guess that goes for the blu, too? Though MVD, who I believe are distributing it, seem to have it in stock?
