looks promising. Will this be from the same transfer as the US BD? Will be interested to hear how this compares.

We have a brandnew German commentary from Bava expert Pelle Felsch with english subtitles. We have the Italian Track too, and english subtitles for all the special feature and the feature film.

Exclusively for pre-orders

there is again a small gimmick, this time in the form of a fictional wedding invitation. In keeping with the theme of the film, we have designed (21.0 cm x 14.8 cm) for you a high-quality, 4-sided invitation card and it is limited to 200 pieces, hand-numbered by us and personalized. The latter means that we have the card designed content so that we add your name by hand (or your desired name)

pre-order e-mail for the gimmick here info@wicked-wishes.de or info@wv-media.de
(write them a message with subject = Hatchet for the Honeymoon + Name + Address )

So I've had this pre-ordered on Amazon, and today is release day and... they don't have it in stock and neither do D&T Mailorder.

I saw a post on Wicked-Vision's FB stating a 30 Mar release date too.

Does anybody know what's up?

I just received an email from Daniel. The release is still scheduled for today (30th March), and stock has already been shipped, but retailers may not have received their stock yet due to bank holidays last Friday and Monday.

I guess that never happened! I'll be curious to hear your thoughts. The US disc has kind of a worn-out appearance (though it's light-years better than say, The Whip and the Body).

Daniel mentioned in a follow up email that he hasn't had time to do it, but hopefully will have the time next week.

It's possible to order direct and they have it of course, but I'll maintain my Amazon order, as I have other titles in the same order, and the delay should be minimal.

I'll hopefully have my disc on Monday or Tuesday.

What's the PQ etc. like? That's what's interesting. Mine's been "preparing for dispatch" for almost 48 hours, so I'm curious. Thanks.

I know people like the packaging pictures and I'm definitely not saying you should stop posting them or anything, but could you put them (or at least all but the first of each group) behind a spoiler? They are HUGE (way more resolution than will display inline on the forum) and you always post them in groups of 5 or more, it takes forever to load any page on which you've posted them on a phone. :P Just a public service announcement!

So hey, did anyone ever watch this? How does it compare to the US one? The commentary on "The Red Queen Kills Seven Times" mentioned Forsythe's fabulous pajamas so it made me want to see it again!

Just watched this just now. Really fun concept that could easily make a great HBO Max series perhaps.
