they didn't mention a single player

splatoon 1 had a very basic campaign, other than the final boss, it really wasn't worth playing

edit: I read that the single player is confirmed

Splatoon 1 was sweet as hell, I just didn't spend much time with it. I will for this one though! I'm excited.

Dope, glad they're doing this. Only played a little bit of the first game on my friend's Wii U so I'll definitely try this out to see if I wanna buy it in the summer

An all weekend beta would have been better but I'll try and get on if I'm home and get some matches in. Not much for MP games but it looks fun.

Same here. Annoying hours! But at least it's 2/3 of it is during the weekend.

I am going to try and get in the 1st one here in another 40 mins during my lunch break. Then maybe try for another one this weekend.

I remember the 1st testfire for Splatoon 1 being a pain to get into. Hopefully it isn't as bad this time around.

Took a little bit to get used to the controller though.
Overall, I had more wins than losses.

The few times I was killed, it was always by the same person. Jason. Whoever that Jason person is, he must have played the original and got good at sniping. I never played the first one, but I did pretty good netting 5 kills of my own. I also did pretty well with covering the ground in my color.

I just hope it has a good offline mode, I refuse to pay for online this fall.
