Id love to see house party make its way over to blu as well as house party 2. why has it been so long for this.

I’ve been asking myself that very question for years. Maybe Warner Archive? I definitely would love to see the first two brought back. Lots of nostalgic memories.

I would love to see House Party to Blu-ray in the future. I own 4 pack DVD (4 Film Favorite). Don't know if Warner deal with Shout Select since Street Fighter Collection? Release Blu-ray please.

The music is probably keeping it from release. Many of the 80's and 90's films (TV shows too!) have music that is essentially "lost" in negotiation rights - DVD/Blu-Ray and streaming didn't exist when the music clearances were done for these works - or requiring royalties that are too expensive, which is what keeps many works of that time period from being released on disc and streaming.
